Aditya Shah is a WordPress community leader, organizer, and speaker from Bhopal, India. He has been contributing to the WordPress ecosystem for over a decade through meetups, WordCamps, educational initiatives, and community programs. In 2015, he founded the WordPress Bhopal Meetup chapter, which has grown into an active and consistent local community. He has served as an Organizer for WordCamp Bhopal (multiple editions) and WordPress do_action Bhopal, helping bring together contributors, developers, designers, and business owners. He is also part of the organizing/operations team for WordCamp Asia 2026. Aditya organized the WP Build Tour, an educational initiative that introduced more than 1,500 students to WordPress and open-source technologies through hands-on workshops. He also participated in WordPress Campus Connect Jaipur 2025, engaging with students and representing the WordPress community across academic institutions. As a speaker, he has delivered sessions at WordCamp Asia, WordCamp Nepal, WordCamp Kochi, and WordCamp Mumbai, sharing insights on performance optimization, hosting infrastructure, and WP-CLI. He actively mentors new contributors and encourages first-time speakers to participate in WordPress events. Professionally, Aditya serves as Hosting Support Manager at WPMU DEV, where he works closely with WordPress hosting, infrastructure, performance, and security at scale. His efforts are guided by a simple goal: to make WordPress more accessible, secure, and welcoming for everyone while supporting the next generation of contributors and creators.
