{"id":1450,"date":"2016-08-17T11:21:31","date_gmt":"2016-08-17T05:51:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2016.bhopal.wordcamp.org\/?page_id=1450"},"modified":"2016-08-19T10:49:28","modified_gmt":"2016-08-19T05:19:28","slug":"terms-and-conditions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/bhopal.wordcamp.org\/2016\/terms-and-conditions\/","title":{"rendered":"Terms and Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By the act of buying a\u00a0ticket for WordCamp Bhopal 2016, you confirm that<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You are aware that each ticket is valid for <em>one person only<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>You are aware that no admission will be granted without the ticket.<\/li>\n<li>You agree to carry a smartphone, tablet, laptop or any other device which can be used to <em>show us the sms, email or an electronic copy<\/em><sup>1<\/sup> because the organisers <em>will not accept\u00a0print-outs<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>You are aware that tickets are <em>non-transferable<\/em>, which means no one else but you will be permitted against the ticket.<\/li>\n<li>You agree to <em>not throw any leftover food<\/em><sup>2<\/sup>\u00a0items in the trash.<\/li>\n<li>You agree to <em>not litter the venue<\/em><sup>3<\/sup> and help us keep it clean.<\/li>\n<li>You\u00a0<i>authorize<\/i>\u00a0WordCamp Bhopal 2016\u00a0to send emails or SMS texts relevant to your participation which may\u00a0<em>not be limited to<\/em> event and ticketing details.<\/li>\n<li>You have read and agreed to the <a href=\"\/code-of-conduct\/\" target=\"_blank\">Code-of Conduct<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Your Name, Photo (fetched from gravatar), and Twitter handle and Website (if provided) will be made public on the <em>Attendees page<\/em><sup>4<\/sup> for networking purposes.<\/li>\n<li>You accept that the <em>right of admission<\/em> is reserved by the organisers and the venue management and they may <em>revoke yours<\/em> if deemed necessary.<\/li>\n<li>The Event ID may contain a QR Code which will have the following info: First Name, Last Name, Twitter (if mentioned), Website URL (if mentioned). You may choose to including the following during the purchase of the ticket: eMail &amp;\/or Mobile.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Refund Policy<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>No refund will be provided once the ticket is purchased.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>T-shirt Policy<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The t-shirt size and preference can and will\u00a0only be considered for tickets bought <em>on or before the 13th of September<\/em>. For tickets bought after that, we can only provide the closest available size\u00a0to your preference.\n<div class=\"wcp-fine-print\">Our vendor needs time to print and prepare t-shirts. We cannot be changing our order at the last moment. We also don\u2019t want you to not have a t-shirt. So, we are going to print some t-shirts of each size and depending on how early you register, you might get the right size or one size larger or something.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Useful Information<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Although, it is not needed by us, please have a <em>valid government or institutional ID<\/em> on you at all times for security purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Foreign nationals\u00a0are requested to carry at least a <em>copy of their passport<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"wcp-fine-print\">\n<ol>\n<li>We are IT professionals, we look stupid when we use paper instead of computers.\u00a0The simplest thing to do is to take a sms (which was sent to you after registration) or screenshot or print a pdf through your browser. In case, you don\u2019t have a smartphone or a computer, we can work with the <em>ticket code<\/em> that\u2019ll be sent to you. But no paper!<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ll provide facilities for collecting the leftovers which can be given to those who need it more than the trash can. Please deposit any plastic, paper, pamphlets, wrappers, etc at a recyclying counter or back to the stalls where you picked them up from.<\/li>\n<li>We\u2019ll be creating an attendees page, with Names, Photos and Twitter handles(if any). So just in case you missed taking down their contact at the WordCamp. Or, in case you met a great human being with a far reaching vision who didn\u2019t get visiting cards, you can catch them via twitter!<br \/>\nNo personal information or information that could be used to identify you will be shared with any third party.
