The Day started when the attendees reached the registration desk, where they were handed their kits meanwhile the online attendance was being taken, everyone was on their best foot and things at registration went really well with the breakfast being a cherry on top of icing.<\/p>\n
The Event took a head start with Puneet Sahalot\u2019s<\/strong> (Founder IdeaBox Creations) Session which was on ‘Introduction to WordPress’, he gave a brief history of how WordPress evolved from a blogging platform to a CMS.<\/p>\n The next session was followed by Aditya Kane<\/strong> (Chief Cultural Officer at Yapapaya) on ‘Why choose a career in open source (WordPress)’ where he talked about \u2018What is open-source. OSS impact on the world Free and open web. Why do we need to protect it? Why WordPress GPL, Software as philosophy and career prospects.<\/p>\n The tea break was followed by Swapnil Patil<\/strong> (Organizer WordCamp Pune) giving a brief on \u2018How to Translate a WordPress Theme\/Plugin\u2019, Nirav Mehta\u2019s<\/strong> (Developer of Plugins) session on ‘Why We Indian Developers Fail; And what you can do about it’ intrigued the attendees, Nirav’s storytelling interaction worked tremendously good .<\/p>\n It has been rightly said, “Hunger makes a thief of any man”. So the Lunch started soon after Nirav\u2019s session, concurrently few had interaction with the sponsors on their separate desk. This was followed by Alexander Grounder’s (Ink my web) session on \u2018The ways of Contributing to WordPress.’<\/p>\n Next speaker of the session was Saurabh Shukla<\/strong> (Chief Strategist at Yapapya and the Chief Mentor at BaapWP.me) and he spoke on Collaboration Oriented Development. The last session was by Rahul Bansal<\/strong> (CEO of rtCamp) on \u2018How to build high-quality WordPress agency in Bhopal\u2019.
