The very first speaker of WordCamp Bhopal will be Poonam and she will be speaking on ‘Why WordPress’.
People often make the mistake of classifying WordPress as just a blogging platform. Although that used to be true in the past, WordPress has evolved through out the years into a versatile content management system (CMS). While you can still use WordPress to create a simple blog, now it also allows you to create fully functional websites and mobile applications.

Poonam is founder and author of SmallEnvelop.com where she shares her knowledge about plugins, themes, and content for the WordPress community. She also Works as a Happiness Engineer at ThemeIsle. She has been associated with WordPress for the past 5 years and contributed to WordPress community with some free themes. Apart from developing the websites, she loves reading books, cooking and traveling.
