Important Visa Announcement for #WCBhopal attendees

 

Bhopal, nestled within the state of Madhya Pradesh and part of the Union of India, eagerly anticipates your visit. However, entry regulations vary based on your passport’s origin.

  • Exemption for Certain Countries: Citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives can dive into WordCamp Bhopal 2023 without a visa.
  • For Other Nationals: If you hail from a nation outside of these three, a visa may be necessary to join us. For precise details, consult the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs, where you’ll find comprehensive information on visa requirements and essential documentation.

In order to apply for the visa, and receive your visa and invitation letter you will need:

  • The passport must be valid for up to six months (depending on your nationality) 
  • Your email address must be the same one that you used to purchase your ticket
  • You must have already purchased your ticket – we will not issue the invitation letter if you have not purchased a ticket. Should the visa request be refused, we will refund you.
